The organisation - PrimaKlima-weltweit- e.V.

PrimaKlima-weltweit- e.V. was founded as a registered non-profit organisation in 1991. Its legal residence is Düsseldorf. The PrimaKlima office is located in Düsseldorf as well.

PrimaKlima aims to lower the anthropological greenhouse effect
and effectively protect the climate

• by reducing current greenhouse gas emissions, especially CO2 emissions
   
• by neutralizing greenhouse gas emissions that couldn't be avoided
   
• by reducing the level of greenhouse gas concentration
   

  to pre-industrial figures

With its team, which is working on a strictly voluntary basis, as well as consultants with expertise in the subject mater, PrimaKlima realizes afforestation and forest protection projects with partners on site globally. The organization receives donations from the economy, private households and communities.

As of January 1st, 2009 PrimaKlima counted 133 members (Dec. 2007: 120). The annual membership fee for supporting the work as defined in the charter is 50,- € per person (students, sustaining members etc. pay 15,- € p.a.), for judicial persons / companies the fee is 250,- € p.a.
